This & That Weekly Roundup

I’ve got a lot of very odd and disconnected things to say today, so I think I’ll say them in no particular order!

  • The fabulous Lauren Dane has organized an awesome Snippet Saturday blog ring.  It kicks off tomorrow and we’re joining in, along with great authors like: Lauren Dane, Cynthia Eden, Vivi Anna, SJ Day , Leah Braemel, Mandy Roth, Anya Bast, Viv Arend , Juliana Stone, Savannah Foley , Beth Williamson, Elisabeth Naughton , Michelle Pillow, Jaci Burton , Taige Crenshaw and McKenna Jeffries. So check back over the next few Saturdays to get sneak peek snippets from Sanctuary Lost, and links to snippets from other authors!
  • Donna & I had a really fun interview over at Pop Culture Curmudgeon about the Red Rock Pass series and our love of various TV shows.  Stop by this weekend for a chance to win a copy of Cry Sanctuary before the sequel comes out!
  • The winner of a copy of Sea Witch by Virgina Kantra from Monday’s post is Caprice Castano! Email me at bree@moirarogers.com with info on where to send the book!  Thanks to everyone who chatted with me.  I’ve got a bunch of books I want to feature in upcoming months, since I’m busily drawing hearts around the names Ann Aguirre, Meljean Brook & Diana Rowland in my author fangirl notebook. (Or I would be, if I had such a thing. I deny it.)
  • Donna and I are currently working on edits on Sanctuary’s Price, which comes out in October.  Yes, two back-to-back Red Rock Pass books!  We’re also hard at work on Crossroads, the sequel to Crux, which is slated for early 2010 release if all stays on track.  Finally, we’ve finished up the first two short novellas in the Temple of Luna series, which are set for July & September releases this year.  So all that quiet time when we weren’t talking was well spent in productivity!
  • …unless you check us out on twitter (Bree & Donna) where we give every evidence of having lots of free time.  The twitter is a lie. But oh-so-deliciously-fun.
