Last Call Europe!
Exciting news for fans of Last Call! I’ve hinted a few times that we’ve thrown open the series to Changeling authors, and one of our author buddies, Leila Brown, is the author of the first Last Call Europe book due out on June 19th from Changeling Press!
So how will the Last Call Europe stories differ from the originals? Well, different authors, for one. And more variety. I don’t think it’s a secret that Donna & I love our werewolves, and a good number of our Last Call stories had at least one werewolf in it. Leila Brown is busting the top off, though, and kicking us off with a couple of Leprechauns!
Ciarran, an Irish traditional witch, has had her luck stolen by vindictive Leprechaun. Without her luck everyday life has become a trial. And her spells are more like miss-spells. There’s only one thing to do. Go to the Last Call Bar and order up the right drink.
Irish Crème: Only the extremely lucky need apply. Make it a Double!
Decllan and Niall came to Last Call to relax on the one night a year they get together. Neither of them expected they’d end up spending the night with an out of luck witch who needs their help. Luckily they’re up for the job.
In the later part of the month we’re going to organize a contest to celebrate the kick-off of the new series, where you can win fun gift-certificates to restaurant.com as well as backlist copies of the original Last Call books.
Heck, why not start today.
For your choice of the Last Call books reply to this post and tell me what supernatural creatures you’d love to see in a Last Call story! (Bonus points if you think up a drink name to go with it!) A couple random repliers will get the Last Call ebook of their choice. (You have through the end of the weekend!)

OOoh well my fave is a vampire but shifters are cool too….. maybe a dragon shifter…. and for a drink how about a blue blazer…… blue curaco, pineapple juice and banana liquer set on fire of course!
Oh darling, I want in on this! Can I do a couple for the north? Like a ‘Canadian Hunter’ made with Yukon Jack- we’d still get werewolves on that one.
Or a ‘Golden Nugget’, with polar bears and northern lights.
I like the usual…vampires, shifters.
As for a drink…I don’t know alcohol. I’m a Goose & cranberry girl. hhhmmm, maybe add so pomegranite too…call it a Bloody Goose, Intravenous, Lifeline? heh. IDK.
I love werewolves, but a different kind of shifter, perhaps a leopard? Vampires, Elves and witches are always fun good too.
Great contest! I’m a vampire fan, so I’d have to put that as my number one. How about a Banshee?
I’m waiting for my Shetland pony shifter, Bree. And for a drink, a Haystack!
OH PLEASE ENTER ME!
I would like to see some a leprechaun for a drink a spot of gold
How about selkies?….it could take place in Ireland of course, and the drink…..maybe Sex on The Beach?????
I’m always totally intrigued by witches & for a drink how about a
“Nutty Bitch”?
I would love to see more witches!
I’d like to see a story with a demon as the hero. Love the idea of good demons and bad demons as has been done with vampires. As for a drink to go with it, I think a Demon’s Breath is perfect.
How ’bout an eagle shifter? drink Thunderbird Squeeze.
I love almost all paranormals, especially vampires and werewolves, but for this question how about these real drinks with these types of characters:
a tooth fairy, with the drink a Sweet Tooth
a fallen angel, with the drink an Angel’s Kiss
a dragon, with the drink a Screaming Lizard
I love cat shifters – leopards, jaguars, that kind of thing. Maybe a drink called Cat’s Eyes, or Cattails.
I would like to see an irreverent dwarf with a golden horn drink.
Can I have a bear shifter with a Honeycomb Bomb?
) Tamsyn
I love all kinds of shifters, any make me happy when reading, but love the cats, then wolves. Like a dragon now and again too!
I love shifters, especially big cats….
I love feline shifters. Tiger Pride, Panther, and Lupine are already drinks as well. Sounds like my old favorite a Fuzzy Navel would be in order. Actually a Fuzzy Navel sounds more like a werewolf drink. How about a made up one – Howl at the Moon.
How about a stallion shifter, and the drink a Harvey Wall (stall)Banger?
Love vampires, angels and all the rest
I like the good vs evil
Thanks
