Week In Review: March 30th, 2008

First of, time for a little party. We broke 80,000 words for March, as of 5 minutes ago. I put off writing this update just so I could say that.
…of course, we had to delete about 11,000 of them. LOL Alas, we still wrote them. They count as practice, if not progress.

DW1 is our new project we’re working on, a very different, very dark world that we’d like to write a few short stories in. Whether or not it’ll turn out to be something people want to read…well, we’ll deal with that when we get there.
There have to be some people out there who love dark, tortured, highly dangerous anti-heroes as much as we do, right?
We also finished our first go-round on edits for WITHOUT BORDERS and FAMILY LEGEND. We each picked one story and went to town on it, now we’ve switched and are going over each other’s edits and changing stuff around a bit. Once we send those back, we’ll be able to breathe…until round two hits us.
Blog Roundup:
- We blogged at Cobblestone Press about free reads on Monday.
- I think you guys like Karl Urban as much as we do! Our most popular Monday Eyecandy yet.
- I posted about what I want to be when I grow up. Broadway Star might have come up.
- A new chapter of Faking Human has been posted: The Unfortunate Flirting Incident.
- Donna posted about diversification of ones publishing attempts.
- A tiny snippet of our new project got posted on Saturday.
There are still two more days to get in our March drawing. Details are on ourmailing list. We’re going to be giving away a few goodies along with a Cobblestone Press gift certificate or two, and who doesn’t want one of those?
