Thanks for an awesome release week, y’all! :)
It’s always scary and nerve-wracking to do something different, especially when you’re stretching out of your comfort zone! But it’s also exciting and energizing, which is why I’m so glad Donna & I decided to take a chance and write our non-shifter futuristic post-apocalyptic paranormal romance books. (With virtual reality and truckers, amen.)
We’ve been lucky enough to get some positive reviews! I have a by-no-means exhaustive list of those I happen to have links to on my laptop, too: Badass Book Reviews | Book Lovers Inc | From Me to You | LibraryJournal | Long and Short Reviews | Reading the Paranormal | Smexybooks | The Book Pushers | Under the Covers | Wayfaring Writer | What Book is That
So thanks, everyone who picked up a copy of Demon Bait and thanks to everyone who read it and talked to us and hugged us and tweeted about it or was just, in general, pretty damn rad. Donna & I sometimes fall down on the whole HEY, BUY OUR BOOK part of promotion, but for some reason you wacky people keep doing it anyway. I am eternally grateful. <3
And now it’s only four weeks to Hammer Down!
Which is like Demon Bait except 3x as long and with 3x as much violence and 3x as much sex and 3x as many demons and the answer to why the series is called “Children of the Undying.” (I can’t tell you. It’s a spoiler. Ha!)

I’ll be doing a little blog clean up today and posting the final winners of the Apocalypathon contest over the weekend. Thanks everyone who participated…it was so much fun!

I know! I know why it’s called Children of the Undying.
You used that infinite lives trick turtle/stairs stomp in Super Mario Bros level 3-1.
That’s my theory.
That or God Mode on Doom.
Really, it’s the only thing that makes any sense. ^_^
LOL, Keith! Thanks for the month of world-ending fun, Bree and Donna!!
I saw a good review for Demon Bait at Smexy Books today:

Congrats on the awesome reviews; I’ll check them out this weekend.
Thanks for the fun contest. I’ve added a lot of books to my wish list.
Thank you for a fun month! I now have a bunch more books to add to my wishlist.
Thank you for the great month filled with new books and new worlds to discover. And good luck with all the different books you are writing at the same time. Amazing you never get confused which one you should be working on.
With 3x everything in Hammer Down, guess who has it on her wishlist already? Yes that’s right – ME!!
I can’t wait to read Hammer Down! Last month was great fun!
SO much good stuff coming up. I can’t wait! Julio and Sera-sigh.
Thanks for the interviews and contests– it was so cool coming here everyday and seeing what you put up next. I really added to my To Buy list:)
Ooooh, so many wonderful stories to look forward to! Thanks for writing them!
I loved Demon Bait even more than I anticipated. I think it helps that I read some other post-apocalyptic stories this month (after you showcased them here of course).
Heehee, god mode on Doom, that was some good stuff right there. Those guys with the machine guns. Takes me back to my early twenties when all we could afford to do was hang out at home and play games.
Thanks for the fun month of great books for my wish list. I look forward to the coming year, knowing that there are more books coming from my many favorite authors.
CONGRATS!!!!! I’m thrilled for the both of you and I’m not surprised by the awesome reviews
thanks again for a great month! Found some great new authors, my wishlist is groaning and I’ve already got my copy of Demon Bait and getting ready to read it! You guys rock!
Thanks for linking my review!! I truly enjoyed reading Demon Bait!! =0)
