It’s like an investment portfolio, see?

Can someone please tell me what I was thinking, agreeing to do a blog post on Friday? It’s, like, crazy day. No one gets anything done on Friday.

*sigh*

Anyway. I am GOING to get this posted before Saturday. That means I have an hour and four minutes. Let’s not tarry, shall we?

Bree and I are taking a teeny little break from starting any new Mystic Valley stuff. Right now, we’re trying to finish extensive revisions on a short novel, the first actual one in the series, and a holiday/seasonal submission that (screw revision) needed rewrites.

But we kind of want to branch out. Not that we haven’t been perfectly happy with Cobblestone Press; on the contrary, we adore them more than words can say. But, in the e-book world, it’s just not reasonable to expect one publisher to handle all of your work. Diversification is better for everyone involved. As an author, you can get more stuff out there, and faster. From the publisher’s standpoint, fans will follow their favorite authors. If a reader likes something you’ve published elsewhere, chances are good they’ll make more sales off of you as your fans search out more of your work.

We have upcoming releases at Cobblestone and The Wild Rose Press. With a little luck–and a LOT of work–we’ll also find homes for our stuff elsewhere. That makes for happy everyone.

Anyway, never fear. Our new thing is still paranormal erotica, though the universe and setting is pretty different from anything we’ve done before. It’s fairly dark, which we love, and has lots of strong alpha men. Which, obviously, we also love. LOL

Anyway. Maybe we can get you a sneak peek one of these days. You’ll have to ask Bree. ;)

And lookie there. I have fifty-four minutes to spare. Either this blogging thing isn’t so hard, or I completely suck at it.

I vote for the latter. ;)
