Okay, so it’s not November yet, but I’m going to cheat and get started a day early!

Over the next 30 days, we’re going to be be bringing you non-stop apocalyptic action, from Artificial Intelligence to Zombies. Most posts will have their own prizes, many furnished by authors, some provided by us. There will be books, gift certificates and a grand prize…
Every (non-spammy) comment on every post with Apocalyptathon in the title counts as a single entry toward the grand prize. The winner will get a $200 gift certificate that they can use to buy a kindle fire or a kobo vox. (Or, obviously, a very great number of ebooks!)

I think I’d rather be a wizard – hopefully I’d have more weapons and survival tricks than a werewolf would, including the ability to conjure soap.
I choose werewolf. Stronger and more adaptable to harsh conditions.Plus a built-in fur coat for winter
I’m thinking wizard. I’d need to be more than a “one trick pony” if you will – and, besides, one of my wizard tricks would be to turn into a wolf if necessary!
Oh, that’s tough. Werewolves are physically stronger, naturally, but Wizards can do some pretty groovy things.
So, I’m going to go with wizard because they have a multitude of tricks up their sleeves >_<
I would pick a wizard for their extra magical skills, which should give them an edge over everyone else.

This is indeed a hard choice – can I choose vampire instead? LOL
While my first thought was werewolf because of being hard to kill, fur coat and inhuman strength I had second thoughts because while long lived, werewolves do need something to eat which I’m not sure would be around for long.
So I’m thinking wizard because with my magic I could effortlessly force radiation away, make crops grow, get messages out to all remaining survivors to bring the eye candy to me, create new buildings, etc.
I’d probably choose the Wizard, but only if my powers would work. If I’m going to be weaken by the loss of my magical powers then I’d have to choose the werewolf as I would most likely survive longer. Of course, I could just be the werewolf wizard and not have to choose between either as I would be both!
I think I would rather face the Apocalypse as a werewolf since they have fur to keep them warm in case the temperature drops and since they are natural hunters I should be able to maintain feeding.

Ack, this is a hard one!! I have mad love for shifters……..so yeah I’d want to be a Werewolve, BUT I’d love to have that Wizard magic for all the obstacles and Big Baddies I’d run into……

My choice is a wizard. I think werewolves’ capabilities are limited compared to a wizards.
O this is an intriguing book, yes, I’d love to read it. As I have a “thing” for witches and wizards, I will choose a wizard. I assume I will be able to work my magic, and conjure fire, find water, food and clothes and everything I need to survive.

Happy Halloween! I know a wizard would have some pretty cool tricks up their sleeves to survive the apocalypse but I think I’d rather be a werewolf, at least I’d be nice and warm with my fur coat lol

Werewolf baby! It would just be too cool to be able to shapeshift, and hello, supernatural strength and senses.
What a great event.. I’d pick the Wizard because of all the magical abilities and like Rive mentioned you could always summon a werewolf if needed.

I thought about it a lot and decided to go with werewolf. Mostly because of the strength that seems to be common to a werewolf. I’m a big wimp IRL so I think strength’d be pretty helpful in an apocalypse.
I would rather face it as a wizard. Because I would be able to defend myself and others from farther away and be able to help everyone in the end.
I would say wizard, hoping my skills would keep me well fed and comfortable.

I think I would love to be a wizard. They have magical powers and may be able to destroy things with a hand gesture.
I would rather be a werewolf. Even though you could be a wizard beneath the cloak there is still just a weak little creature.
Depends on the type of apocalypse
Apocalypse one – due to global warming you’re left with a freezing world, magical creature choice Werewolf.
Apocalypse two – due to science gone bad or atomic war, magical creature choice Wizard.
Preference for The Apocalyse due to personal liking Werewolf
I would rather be a wizard and have all the tools to weather the coming of the apocalypse.

Most def a werewolf. You will need to be predator to survive.
I think a wizard would be the best you can go and not be recognized, but as a werewolf you can only hide so long.
I would pick wizard..I will need all my powers to survive. I’m sure I’ll be able to turn myself in to anything I may need and if I need to shift in to a werewolf I’m sure I will. Plus keep a roof over our heads. That would be so cool. What a great pick….

A werewolf. I think the wizard will be to conflict with everything going around. The werewolf is from the earth and his instinc will be in full power.

Wow, I have to say this is really hard. With the wolf there is the warmth, strength, and hunting ability. With the wizard, depending on the powers, you may have the same as well as the ability to conjure. mmmmm I am going with the wizard – unless I can have a sexy wolf wizard Thank you for the fun today Freeze Line looks like a great read. That would be hard magical wizard or werewolf both have positives and negatives and with the wizard depending on what powers would have to see if they would outweigh the positives of the werewolf.
A difficult decision because there are benefits to both, but I think I’ll go with wizard.
A wizard with shapeshifting abilities.

The creature I would pick is a earth sprit. Because we are going to need to get the earth back to normal, with growing things to cleanse the air. It’s where we would start with the soil, make heathy for all creatures to survive

Did enjoy Freeze Line and I think the being a wizard would allow one to tap the magic of the Earth for help but one would be cold waiting for the assistance.
I’d want to be a wizard. Especially if I had the ability to conjure weapons. I might also have the ability to shape shift into a furry animal or one that can take flight. Or at light the illusion of a big bad beast
