WINNER: Vampire Lumberjack vs Werewolf Bootlegger Throwdown
Well, I’ll say up front that I had high hopes for this as a fun way to tell the world that we had a vampire lumberjack and a werewolf bootlegger, but I had no idea just how fun it would be–or how many of you would get so awesomely involved!
I think people may still be leaving comments on various blogs, but I went through last night and counted the number of comments on each blog post so I could arrive at a winner. First off how about a few stats:

- Number of comments when I tabulated them: 3,125
- Team Vampire Lumberjack: 29
- Team Werewolf Bootlegger: 36
- Refused to initially pick a side: 3

Through alchemy and excel spreadsheets (mostly excel spreadsheets) I was able to figure out exactly which comment #964 was, assuming the blogs were listed in order as they appeared on our blog. (Disclaimer: this may no longer be the same comment if anyone bothers to count, so don’t. Unless everyone locked their posts last night, new comments are probably still popping up!)
Since the winning comment didn’t belong to the owner of the blog in question, that blogger gets a $50 gift certificate to the bookstore or online retailer of their choice! Congrats to…
