Want to win an eARC of Crossroads?
During the summer we held a contest where we asked people who’d read Cry Sanctuary to use StoryCasting.com to create a fun “cast” for the book, after which we picked our favorites and handed over eARCs of the sequel. To date, I think that’s the most fun Donna & I have had with a contest, because watching people pick their casts was a blast.
Since we enjoyed it so much, we’re going to do it again with Crux & Crossroads. For those of you who have read Crux, now is the time to get creative! The rules are listed below, and this time we’ll have two prizes: the creator of our favorite cast will get an autographed copy of Crux and an eARC of Crossroads, the runner up will receive the eARC. (If our favorite cast happens to be by someone who has already obtained the eARC, we’ll let them substitute any of our backlist titles.)
To Enter:
- Go to: http://bit.ly/castcrux
- Enter your cast! To qualify, you have to cast 5 characters. You can pick whichever ones you like, but here are some suggestions:
- Mackenzie Brooks
- Jackson Holt
- Alec Jacobson
- Nick Peyton
- Mahalia Tate
- Kat Gabriel
- John Peyton
- Michelle Peyton
- Steven Donovon
- Come back here and leave a comment with the name you used so we can track you down if you’re the winner! This part’s important–Story Casting is going to protect your user info, but that means I won’t be able to see it!
This contest will be open for one week, so go to Story Casting and enter your cast before December 16th! On December 17th we’ll announce the two winners here on the blog.
And if you’re wondering how it worked, check out the winners from the Cry Sanctuary contest! Swaying us by picking actors & actresses you think we like is absolutely fair game! All is fair in story casting and ARC contests!

I know actors and actresses by their faces only, most of the time so I can’t pick, sorry. But please enter me anyway ; )
@Regina: No worries, we’ll have plenty of contests that are easier later on, but for this one I’m afraid we have to go with the people who enter! (If you only like picking by faces, just click on the “Top 50 Females” or “Top 50 Males” links and pick from their faces there!)
Hi, I posted under Anne38.
Have a great holiday season!
I posted there under “Sherlockian”! Sorry, there’s no Jensen Ackles in my casting.
Thank you for the fun contest.
Happy Holidays!

Forgive Nicole. She didn’t remember you were doing this and went and got blonde highlights
