Oh man, I’m tired! And here’s why…

What a couple weeks we’ve had! First Some Like it Haunted and then Sanctuary’s Price!  Books are releasing & re-releasing everywhere I look, and so many awesome books are coming out that I want to read at the same time!  Oh life, why you gotta be so unfair??

But all in all, it’s been a good week.  And I thought I’d do a little bit of a project rundown for those who might be curious where we are and what’s going on!

Red Rock Pass

Sanctuary’s Price has only been on sale for a few days, but there’s no rest for the wicked!  Cry Sanctuary and Sanctuary Lost are coming out together in one print volume in April!  And in June the 4th book in the series (and the final book in that particular 4 part story arc) will be going on sale. Book #4 is called Sanctuary Unbound and will feature Adam and Cindy leading the charge in the final showdown between Red Rock and Helena. Werewolves and witches and vampire lumberjacks… oh my!

That may be the end of the arc, but we’re not done with the universe!  We’re also working on another project set in the same world, which we’re hoping to have ready for sale in the fall.  It’s a paranormal historical romance taking place in Boston in 1933, and will explain why Adam the Vampire Lumberjack owes Gavin of Red Rock a life debt.  It will also tell the story of the first sanctuary town through the eyes of the ex-debutante and former bootlegger who founded it together, and lemme tell you… those are two werewolves who never expected to fall in love.

So, to sum up, confirmed releases are:

• April 2010: Sanctuary (Cry Sanctuary & Sanctuary Lost) in print.
• June 2010: Sanctuary Unbound (Red Rock #4) in ebook.
• April 2011: Sanctuary’s Price & Sanctuary Unbound in print, title to be determined.

Southern Arcana

Right now we’re finishing up our second round of edits on Crossroads, which is very satisfying. Crossroads will go on sale February 9th, 2010!  It follows Nick & Derek’s story, and deals with his difficulty fitting in to the paranormal world and her troubles with her family.  Since Crossroads is going on sale in February, it means it will be available in print in 2010 too, 10 months later in December!

Oh hey, and January is 10 months after March, which means Crux will be available in print on January 1st!  Double yay!

Usually we would already be working on the third book, but we had to do a little project juggling to make everything work.  But the third book is in its planning stages, enough that we know roughly what will happen and who will find love in the midst of turmoil.  If there are any Alec fans out there, your day is coming!  There’s a mysterious woman just waiting for him!

Carnal Powers

This poor series has been on quite an adventure.  It’s started, stopped, rebooted, moved publishers and yet we still love the potential for dark, twisted and surreal too much to stop!

Some Like it Haunted was just released, and we’re currently working on finishing up the next novella in the series.  Sadly we have a finite number of longer projects we can work on at a time, and while we’re doing longer books for Red Rock & Southern Arcana, the Carnal Powers series has always been a little better suited to short, dark and very, verrrrrry dirty. 

The novella in progress features Ella, seen parting as friends in The 13th Step.  Her hero is not Blake, so please don’t write us angry letters!  But a dark and mysterious shapeshifter is in her future, and the Lady of Las Vegas is getting down with her bad self.

No release details yet, but I’ll announce them when I know more!

Temple of Luna

They’re short, they’re hot, they’re all about naughty fantasy and there’s two more to go!  We needed a little break to make sure we weren’t splitting our focus so many ways that things started to get muddled, so though Savage Need went on sale in September, the next Temple of Luna story won’t be available until January, and the final in March.

Savage Lessons is a little wicked tale of forbidden love between a priestess and a trainer, and Savage Healing will round out the series with the story of the mysterious high priestess and the one man who broke her heart almost as badly as she broke his.

Other Stuff!

We get the occasional queries about the Last Call series.  At the time we have no more planned, though the authors at Changeling are having a field day in the Last Call Europe spin-off series, so if you get a jones for some of that Last Call wickedness, take a peek over there!

The Down & Dirty series is complete as stands for now.  It was always meant to be a trilogy about three women and the men they tamed.

Mysterious Projects:  we’re working on a few!  Unfortunately because I’m superstitious in the extreme they have to remain secret for now.  Trust me, as soon as I know, so will you. 

I think that’s everything I can come up with…does anyone else have any questions?  Comments?  Suggestions?  A pillow and a nice blanket so I can take a nap?  Maaaan, I think I need one!
