Top Six Contest Day Six: Pre-Ordered Books
Welcome to the last day of our six day blow-out! This is one day only so make sure you enter now and enter fast, because time is running out!
And what is our last day? Pre-ordered books! Sometimes you just need the paperback, and you really want to have it on release day, but living in the middle of nowhere can make that a pain. I hate forgetting that a new book is coming only to find Tuesday rolling around and realize I forgot to make plans to make the harrowing trek to the big city and everyone is reading without me!
That’s why I love to pre-order books. No remembering about release dates, my money is off and I get to be happy when I open the door on release day and the UPS man is handing over the goods. My UPS man visits a few times a week with packages to keep me going, and next week I want to send a friendly postal or UPS worker to you!
Next week, on November 4th, the kick-ass Ann Aguirre gets to celebrate her romance debut as Ava Gray, author of sexy, dangerous romantic suspense. I’ve already read the first two Ava Gray books (Skin Game on Nov 4th and Skin Tight due out June 2010) and let me tell you, they are outstanding. You want these books. You need these books, and I’m not just saying that because I’m lucky enough to count Ann among my rockin’ friends. Oh man. Oh Man!! I’m a total fan girl. I’m not gonna lie, I read Skin Game because a friend loaned me her ARC. I LOVED IT and I’ve made no secret of it!! Could.not.get.enough! Reyes and Kyra are on my top sexiest couples of the year list! (Not that I have an official list but when I think sexy I think of Reyes and Kyra)
I would love to have a copy for my very own. It’s definitely a book I will re-read. I practically slobbered all over the Ava Gray/Ann Aguirre in my review LOL and I cannot wait to read Skin Tight. (Thanks so much for the all the twitter teasing you’ve done by the way! lol)

I love to read! I’m a bookaholic. (sad i know isn’t is?) I love to read because books take me away from reality, and, for me, that is the best thing in the world. I can’t travel, but I have been to so many places through books! I have went on so many adventures, because of books! They do more than entertain my mind for a piece of time, they take me away, and I love them all.

I would like to win “Skin Game” because I enjoy Ann’s books immensely. And since this is breast cancer awareness month and I’m celebrating (I’m an 11 year survivor) I’d like to be rewarded with a copy during the month of October. Thanks.
I would like to get these books because I never get to read books when they are first released. It would be great to get to read a book from an author I love and be able to talk about it without being the last one to read it. I live in the Minnesota territories so it takes awhile for things to get here so if I get an advanced copy I would be able to read in on its release date.
I really, really want to read this book, it has been on my wish list ever since I first time read about it!! Please!
Why do I deserve this book? Why do I NEED this book? Because I can’t afford to buy it. Yes, another sob story. Hubby lost his job…just over a month ago. So, until he finds a new job (IT in this lousy job market), I am not allowed to buy any books. THEN when he does get a job, we are saving for a down payment. Because, you know what? I can’t live with my MIL anymore. Or, well I will be in jail.
Also, Ava is Ann with Romance. I don’t think it can get any better than that.

Life is a little bad(stroke, cancer and surgeries in family) and I really could use Skin Game to put myself into Kyra’s place and imagine that I have Reyes to myself.

I really want Skin Game. I read on average 2 books a day and have a hard time finding new authors to read in the romance, paranormal,horror, fantasy genres. I would love a chance to have this book to expand my author base. Please pick me! I will become your number 1 promoter on things like twitter and facebook every time you have a new book or contest or anything else you want to get out there!
How to convince you I want it more….well, everything everyone said before and after me, and add a cherry on top…and whipped cream. The guy on the cover is in need of some whipped cream so that I can lick it off of him
Seriously though I have heard so many good things about Ann’s writing, but haven’t read any of her Urban Fantasies, because it’s just not my cuppa, but would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to get my hands on her first “romance” and become an Ann fan
Also, I think Ann is all types of awesome, and I’m pretty rabid for romance. This being her [first] romance novel – yeah. Big deal.

I could give some sad sob story but honestly ill t ell you why id love to have this book well for one ive never hadhe pleasre of reading ava’s work and I beengiving my time to deal with helping my sister and her new baby> 6 weeks early so we r playing catch up to the rest of the world so yeah thats why id love to win a copy of this book all tho others have amuch better reason i hope youd consider me
Hmm…convince you eh? Well, I have a chronic condition called “readaholia” LOL I happen to adore romances (all sub-genres of it). I have a major soft spot for erotic romances…I read voraciously and I mean voraciously!!! I have to read everyday or it feels like there is something essential missing in my day.
Ava’s work is definitely new to me so it would be wonderful to be able to delve into a new world from a different author.
I love the Red Rock Pass series of books and I am seriously anxious to get my hands on the upcoming release! It’s such a wonderfully written paranormal erotic romance series…I always re-read the older books over and over because I just can’t get enough of them.

I thought i commnted on why i should win but i guess not basicly i could give u a sad story but ill be honest i wanna winbecause its a ne wto me author and its the best way to find out if i like her work or not sounds amazing and would be awesome to win gives me a little down time since i help my sister take care of her children 5 kids is exhausting at times a little me time goes along way
