Musings from a Sunday

Lots of random things to talk about today, so I thought I’d sit down and try to get them all out in some form of coherent update. I’m not making any promises about coherency, though! It’s noon on a Sunday, and I’m sleepy.
First off, how about a couple new reviews I got yesterday and today? We got a lovely review for The Family Legend and another for Kamikaze that was so enthusiastic it just about made my day. Thanks to Diana and Abi for their kind words, Donna and I are both over the moon.
Free stuff! Did that get your attention? We have two new free reads up on the website. The first one, That Old Black Magic, is a short, dirty little romp between two new characters in the Mystic Valley universe. Polly and Max are a thief and bounty hunter respectively, and when they’re after the same target, sparks can fly.
The second is a sweet, romantic little prequel to Cry Sanctuary called Becoming, and gives a little character background for those who might be curious about the history between Red Rock’s alphas and the main antagonist.
Other news… Red Rock Pass #2, SANCTUARY LOST, has been accepted by Samhain, so we’re making progress there. We’re going to work on revisions on the second book before we start the third one, which I have no title for yet, but can say stars my favorite Beta Man With Nerves of Steel as the hero. Seriously, Dylan gets shit done. The alpha men of the world could learn a thing or two from him.
I guess that’s most of the excitement. If you’re looking for more free stuff, review site Bitten by Books has a great page up listing free things you can get from your favorite horror and paranormal authors: http://bittenbybooks.com/?page_id=859 And yes, we’re on there.
But we’re not the only ones, so go check it out!
