Dragon*Con Bound…sort of!

Dragon*Con!

Yes, it’s that time of year where people who like their Sci-Fi & Fantasy pack up and head to Atlanta for a Labor Day Weekend full of fun and geeky pursuits.

Both Donna and I have done this in the past, in the company of our husbands and various friends. I will always have fond memories of the convention. Especially the night all of the girls somehow joined a gaming competition and got a female GM, making us the holy grail of all gaming groups: all chicks. People came by to take pictures, as I recall. We’re hoping to go next year, but this year we’re going to have to be there in spirit.

So what are we sending? Promo goodies! Brochures, bookmarks, trading cards…all sorts of goodies will be floating around Dragon*Con. And the One Up Pimp (video game superstar) will be wandering around with free copies of books to hand out to people at random. So if any of you happen to be there and stumble across a dashing young man in a green jacket jump on his head to gain a free life ask him for a book!

(Video game humor has its moments, doesn’t it?)
